| Enjoy a visit to mysterious
Caddo Lake by staying at Bell's View of the Bayou Guest House, which has a view of the Mound Pond area of Caddo Lake. Some of our
guests have reported the view as "breathtaking". If you live in the busy and noisy city, relax in the peaceful setting of Bell's View. Caddo Lake is a paradise for nature lovers. Sit on one of our several decks and watch the squirrels as they move about the tall trees clad with hanging Spanish Moss. Caddo Lake is known for it's large stands of bald cypress trees, numerous water plants and flowering shoreline trees. These can all be seen around Mound Pond. Birding has become a favorite activity at Caddo Lake with it's more than 250 species of birds. At Bell's View, you can watch waterfowl, shoreline birds and the many other species that frequent the area. Be sure and visit the birding website at www.members.tripod.com/caddobirds. Swimming is not recommended in Mound Pond. We have a large pier and there are several boat launch areas nearby. For more information about what to do in the area, click on the Area Info page. For more about Bell's View Guest House, or for a printable map, click on the appropriate links. We will strive to make your visit one of the most pleasant getaways you can have. We look forward to seeing you in the near future.
